If you have a clear idea of the area that will be most suitable and the type of property you would like to inspect, with a view to making an informed purchase but no pressure to do so, an Inspection Visit for 1 or 2 persons on the following beneficial terms may be ideal for you.

All payments for flights must be made directly from the passenger(s) to the airline. However, we will use our vast knowledge of literally thousands of flights to help you make the best possible booking.

Perhaps the most important benefit is the assistance from an experienced consultant on a one-to-one basis for the duration of your visit. The sort of assistance and advice that has saved many, many buyers from making very costly mistakes, and yet costs you nothing extra as we charge the seller of the property for our services.

• Once we have found the best possible deal, in most cases you will only have to pay for your flights, directly to the airline. If it is a ‘no frills’ flight booked well in advance for £40, that is what you will pay. For peak season flights booked at short notice, you can expect to pay more. The choice though is completely up to you.

• The cost of the flights is fully refundable, up to a maximum of £300 (£150pp).**

• There is no obligation to buy ­ all we ask is that you are in a position to leave a holding deposit with your chosen lawyer if and when you have found your property, and are also clear about how the balance of the purchase will be funded

In summary, before booking a special inspection visit, you should:

• Have a clear idea of the area you would like to buy in and the property prices to expect there.
Our information and advice on these matters is second to none.

• Have fully discussed with us the options for financing your purchase. This will save wasting huge amounts of yours and our valuable time abroad.

• Have valid passports and travel insurance.

• Inform us of any special circumstances for travel, i.e. diet or infirmity.

• Ideally, have a mobile ‘phone we can contact you on abroad as well as in the UK ­ this may mean having a ‘call bar’ removed.

·• Ensure that all the decision makers are able to travel together.
